Biography
Dr. Alessandro Leonardi
received the Laurea Degree in Electronics Engineering and
the Ph.D. in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering
from the University of Catania, Italy, in 2002 and 2007,
respectively. Since 2002 he has worked on the design and
performance evaluation of telecommunication protocols
and algorithms, in particular in the area of wireless
communications and networking. From September 2005 to
February 2006 he visited the Rice Networks Group (Rice University, Houston TX, USA)
under the guidance of Prof. Edward Knightly.
Currently he is a Post Doctoral Researcher with the
Dipartimento di Ingegneria Informatica e
delle Telecomunicazioni (DIIT) of the University of Catania.
